Frequently Asked Questions

What is an Irish dance competition (Feis)?

A Feis is a traditional Irish dance competition where dancers perform in front of judges and are evaluated on technique, timing, and performance.

Not necessarily. Some dancers aim for the highest level, while others compete at local or regional events based on their goals.

Competitive dancers typically train more frequently and are expected to attend classes consistently, as well as participate in events and competitions.

Strong technique, endurance, focus, and discipline are key. We help dancers develop these skills over time in a supportive setting.

We focus on creating a positive experience where dancers learn, grow, and gain confidence. The goal is progress and personal achievement, not just results.
